Greenwood Lake residents Gregg and Elke Noll will lead a series of health focused activites from July 20 to July 25 at Shehauqua Family, located in the Pocono Mountains. You can expect to be introduced to good food choices and a healthy array of activities.
For many people this health focused retreat has been life transforming. According to Knoll, “Our physical life is so precious and truly a gift from God. Living life to the fullest is largely up to each of us by making good decisions on a minute by minute, daily basis. At this retreat we'll be discussing down to earth practical advice on how to implement changes that can help rid ourselves of destructive habits and adopt good ones that can support you on your health journey. This can be so much fun, totally liberating and extend one's life by many years.”
Noll added, “My life has been totally transformed by adopting some of these principles and by sharing best practices we can all help each other live life more fully.”
Other topics that will be discussed include our earth and our toxic food supply and what we can do to make a difference in our own homes & in our communities. Gregg will give a presentation on a pilot project on permaculture http://www.geofflawton.com/sq/15449-geoff-lawton and Elke Noll will provide a taste of her chef creations. Food demos will focus on easy to make meals that can replace unhealthy choices with great tasting ones. There will be at least two hikes on the nearby trails and swimming activities. Knoll said, “The schedule will be relaxed yet meaningful and you can go at your own pace. There will be plenty of fun joining in on the family camp activities if you so desire.”
