It is our 75th anniversary this year, and we are anticipating an exciting holiday season! Under the direction of Stanley Curtis, along with accompanist Gail Johnson, the Chorale will rehearse our holiday favorites, plus prepare for the world premiere of a new composition by the acclaimed composer Gwyneth Walker! The Chorale will present these in concert accompanied by Ms. Johnson and well-known brass ensemble, Brass Quintessence, in early December in Warwick, Goshen and Middletown. Please visit the Warwick Valley Chorale website at www.warwickvalleychorale.org or facebook.com/warwickvalleychorale for further details.
Over the summer, members of the Chorale, led by Gail Johnson, performed selections from the Chorale’s recent spring concert at local nursing and retirement homes, as well as Orange Regional Medical Center. The members were glad to be able to bring the joy of music into the lives of those unable to be out and about.
